Mobile Phone Recycling

1. In the next four years, UK could recycle 25,000 tons of mobile phones all makes Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, V.K, Philips, Sagem to name just a few.

2. Nicad batteries contain Cadmium, a dangerous toxic and carcinogenic substance. The quantity in landfill sites is significant, and considerable toxic contamination is caused by the effects of Cadmium leaking into surrounding soils. Cadmium poisoning can cause kidney failure in humans.

How the Scheme Works.
sign up on the start section and follow the step by step instructions.

We pay for collection in most situations, and there are no costs to you. Alternatively you can drop the phones into the shop.

We will carry out the task of testing the units and making the appropriate payment dependant on the condition. All phones will have some value.

We agree a price minimum and a price maximum per phone. Each phone is individually priced, so you get the most money for your phones. Working phones will have a higher value then faulty phones. and the phone is worth more in the box with instructions and charger.

You are welcome to test the phones before sending them to us, or alternatively you can rely on us to test each phone and confirm if they are working or not. prices given are based on if its fully working or that are broken. We will contact you with what the approximate value of the phones will be.

Should you be a member we will update the total on you collection fund. Depending on the quantity of phones, we try to test and update payments within 14 working days . This is subject to the amount of mobile phones that you have, and if we are required to test them ourselves, or if they have been already tested by you. we will take many phones to name just a few of the major brands nokia, samsung, erricson, sony, motorola, and many others.

Each year, millions of people get new phones, but either put their old phone away "just in case" or - worse still - throw it away. Probably fewer than 5% of people recycle mobile phones.

Even if your phone is not working, it may be useful for spare parts. At least if recycled, items like the battery in particular can be disposed of properly. In some cases recycled mobile phones can be used again in developing countries where people cannot afford the newest and the best technology.

Whether you have one or a number of mobile phones to recycle, join up today and brake the chain start making a change for the better.

The value of a phone depends on make and model, condition, age and the accessories included with it and the accessories. prices change as fast as the retail market does so sending them in faster ensures best prices can be paid.
